Why name our insulation material Ultra Polar Bear®?
The name Ultra Polar Bear® is inspired by the polar bear which symbolizes the ability of surviving in extreme coldness. Our Ultra Polar Bear® flexible super-insulating composite material is engineered to deliver unmatched thermal insulation even in harsh outdoor or aerospace-like environments. Unlike conventional insulation materials that rely on high loft to trap static air, which often loses effectiveness under compression or wet conditions, Ultra Polar Bear® maintains its performance through its unique closed-cell nanoporous structure.
The core advantage lies in its ultra-low thermal conductivity, comparable to aerogels, but with added flexibility and
durability. A 4mm-thick Ultra Polar Bear® layer provides the same insulation effect as a 15mm-thick down layer. It remains breathable, water-resistant, and offers up to 66% better warmth-to-weight ratio compared to international leading insulation brands. It is also washable and maintains over 90% of its insulation capacity after 10 wash cycles.
Furthermore, Ultra Polar Bear® materials are multifunctional — lightweight, compressible, antistatic, moisture-wicking, and importantly, antimicrobial. They demonstrate over 95% inhibition rates against harmful bacteria such as E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus, and are certified under EU SVHC for safety. This makes Ultra Polar Bear® ideal for a wide range of applications, from professional outdoor apparel and workwear to sleeping bags and snow boots.
Ultimately, the name Ultra Polar Bear® not only reflects extreme cold resistance and superior thermal engineering, but also represents our vision to lead the next generation of smart insulation materials in both fashion and function.

What differentiates our UV protection fabric from conventional ones?
Our UV protection fabric differs from conventional materials through both structure and technology. While most market products rely on surface coatings or chemical treatments, which tend to degrade over time and washing, our fabric integrates UV-blocking and cooling functions directly into the yarn via nano rare-earth and PA6 co-polymerization spinning. This ensures permanent and stable performance, even after multiple washes.
Branded under the Warm Shield™ cooling UV-insulating fabric line, it boasts a UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) rating of up to 65, significantly higher than general sportswear standards. It offers a heat shielding rate of 38.7% and a contact cooling sensation coefficient (q-max) of 0.38 — one of the highest in the industry. This fabric efficiently blocks both UVA and UVB rays while actively lowering skin surface temperature, making it ideal for high-temperature environments.
Furthermore, our UV fabric remains highly breathable and comfortable due to its advanced weaving methods like twill and satin structures, and it can be enhanced with spandex to improve density and performance. Unlike traditional products that degrade in outdoor use, ours resists UV aging and retains structural integrity for long-lasting effectiveness.
This fabric is not only suitable for outdoor jackets and sun-protective shirts but is also widely used in cooling footwear, innerwear, bedding, and sunhats. In a market where consumers increasingly prioritize both function and skin health, our innovative approach to UV protection represents a leading edge in functional textile development.
